State Government provides $535,000 to improve Great Southern sporting facilities
Two communities in the Great Southern are to receive a total of $534,995 to help them build better sport and recreation facilities for their local communities.
- Kojonup and Boxwood Hill projects to receive funding under the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF)
- CSRFF helps community groups and local governments to develop basic infrastructure for sport and recreation
The Shire of Kojonup is to receive $309,995 to redevelop four netball courts and provide floodlighting to the oval at the Kojonup Sports Precinct.
And the Boxwood Hill Combined Sports Club near Bremer Bay is to receive $225,000 to help upgrade ablution and changeroom facilities at its sporting grounds.
The projects have been funded in the latest round of the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
The CSRFF provides financial assistance to community groups and local governments to develop basic infrastructure for sport and recreation.
