A total of $6 million is being invested by the State Government towards the $12.75 million redevelopment of the Donnybrook and Districts Sporting and Recreation Precinct.
The project seeks to co-locate sport and recreation clubs from across Donnybrook into one sustainable facility.
The new facility will cater to a wide range of sports including football, tennis, netball, hockey and basketball.
The master plan developments will include infrastructure works to service all sporting user groups including, amongst many others, the construction of a new multipurpose sports club room, improved oval lighting and a new indoor multipurpose court.
The historic plan will benefit a range of projects throughout the State and is expected to create a pipeline of local jobs, with local small businesses and contractors also set to benefit.
