Heaps of fun at Camp Quaranup
The much-loved Camp Quaranup Community Open Day happens on Saturday 16 October.
Celebrate Outdoors October in a fun-filled day with family activities including canoeing, archery, a mountain bike skills clinic, geocaching, rogaining, kite making, guided tours and more.
Camp Q are also proudly hosting the 10th annual World Singing Day global sing-along for all ages, all backgrounds and singing abilities from 2pm. Join locals and sing along to popular songs, from classics to the latest hits.
Catch the ferry from Albany Marina ($5 per person or $10 per family of five) and enjoy a morning or afternoon session of active recreation activities for all ages. Registrations are essential via the DLGSC website.
Devonshire teas, biscuits, slices, sausage sizzle and ploughman-style lunches will be available and an ice cream truck and coffee van will be onsite. There’s also plenty of space for you to spread out a blanket and bring your own picnic and enjoy
the festivities from a comfy spot.
Pack a refillable water bottle and coffee cup, hat, sunscreen, wear comfortable shoes and a change of clothes if you’re planning on trying canoeing.
Some activities will require a gold coin payment.
This event is smoke and alcohol-free event with no pets allowed.
