Arts and Culture Monitor 2021
An independent survey into how Western Australians view the arts shows strong public support for the value of the State’s arts and culture activities.
The survey — the Arts and Culture Monitor — is focused on attendance levels for arts and cultural activities, public support and attitudes toward the arts and the role arts and culture plays for West Australians and their communities.
It is an annual, independent survey commission through the DLGSC since 2003. The survey provides valuable historical data for the arts and culture sector and government.
Research company Catalyse Pty Ltd carried out the 2021 Arts and Culture Monitor, providing a sample of 1385 respondents, 64% from metropolitan and 36% from regional areas in WA.
