It’s your last chance to have your say about local government reform
Local governments have until this Friday (25 February) to take part in a consultation which will help inform how proposed reforms to local government are implemented.
The reforms represent the largest change to local government in more than 25 years, and are based on the findings and recommendations of reports and consultations which have taken place over the past five years.
They are aimed at improving the transparency, accountability and efficiency of Western Australia’s 137 local governments.
