After a successful debut season, the State Library of Western Australia and Screenwest are partnering to produce season two of 'WA Reflections — Our History Rediscovered'.

WA Reflections is a capacity building program for Western Australian filmmakers to produce short documentary films, which will uncover and help share treasures from the State Library's collections.

Filmmakers are invited to submit proposals based on a range of Western Australian heritage collection materials identified by the State Library.

Up to six films will be produced with a budget of $15,000 per film and are expected to be released and available on the State Library's website in early 2023.

Applications are open, and the guidelines and eligibility criteria are available on Screenwest's website.

If you missed the films from season one, you can see them for free on the State Library's website.
