Arts and Culture Monitor 2022
An independent survey into how Western Australians view the arts shows strong public support for the value of the State’s arts and culture activities.
The survey —
the Arts and Culture Monitor — is focused on attendance levels for arts and
cultural activities, public support and attitudes toward the arts and the role arts
and culture plays for Western Australians and their communities.
It is an
annual, independent survey commission through DLGSC since 2003. The survey
provides valuable historical data for the arts and culture sector and
government.
Research company Catalyse Pty Ltd carried out the 2022 Arts and Culture Monitor, providing a sample of 1354 respondents, 61% from metropolitan and 39% from regional areas in WA.
