Brett Patten scores a winning shot at SportWest Awards 2022
We’re proud to share that the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Sports Administrator of the Year Award 2022 goes to Brett Patten, CEO of Tennis West.
The Sports Administrator of the Year award acknowledges the hard work and dedication of administrators from across the WA sport industry.
Brett’s contribution to tennis speaks for itself with what he has helped achieve for tennis in 2022.
He has helped grow the game by increasing partnership and sponsorship funding, created a live platform for State League competitions, helped deliver sporting school programs and upskilled 110 coaches.
Brett is only the second recipient of the award following its inauguration last year. He faced tough competition from fellow finalists Tory Kirkham (Australian Rules Football) and Robyn Kuhl (Volleyball) whose contributions to their respective sports are outstanding.
