WA attracts biggest-ever screen production to the State
Season 2 of the award-winning crime series The Twelve will be filmed in Western Australia.
Supported by the State Government's Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive and Screenwest, the production will be the biggest-ever of its kind to film in WA and is estimated to bring $9.6 million in expenditure to the State.
The Twelve observes a complicated murder trial in a small rural town through the eyes of the 12 jurors, each of whom is grappling with their own lives and experiences and the shattering impacts of the case.
The show's first season aired on Binge and Foxtel in 2022 to critical acclaim and recently received nine Logie Award nominations, including the Most Popular Drama Series.
WA directors Stevie Cruz-Martin (Safe Home, The Tailings) and Ben Young (Hounds of Love, Clickbait) join Mark Joffe (Jack Irish) to helm the production of the thrilling drama series.
Filming will take place in the Wheatbelt and Metropolitan regions, creating over one hundred local jobs and boosting local businesses.
