Intro

Key topics include:

  • An introduction to grants, including what they are, information on where to find them and an explanation of eligibility/assessment criteria and grant guidelines.
  • The process of best-practice project planning to prepare for grant success.
  • An explanation of the grant writing approach; how to address grant criteria, what are assessors looking for and how do you give them what they need?
  • How to build a good budget — including how much detail is required and how costs can be evidence.
  • An explanation of an organisations obligations for funding agreements, reporting and acquittals.
  • Answers to specific grant writing questions the attendees may have.

Participants will be given a grant writing checklist and templates to take back to their organisations and implement for future grant applications.
