Improving capacity and participation growth.

The objective of the Industry Investment Program (IIP) — Regional Servicing Grant (RSG) is to provide funding to State sporting associations (SSAs), to enable the delivery of quality sport opportunities for regional Western Australians.

This is achieved by growing participation and improving capacity and capability at a regional level. The IIP-RSG seeks to elevate an SSA’s base level of regional servicing and programming that is achieved through the IIP categorisation.

Objectives

The objectives of the IIP-RSG are to:

  • Enable SSAs to deliver quality sport opportunities for regional Western Australians.
  • Support SSAs to assist member regional associations and clubs achieve their operational goals that will lead to increased participation opportunities.
  • Support SSAs to improve member associations’ and clubs’ planning, management and governance policies and practices to build and enhance their capacity and capability.
  • Support the development and implementation of regional servicing plans that are aligned to an SSA’s strategic and operational plans.
