Intro

This in-person workshop series aims to support women who are aspiring, emerging or newly appointed board directors. Participants will receive practical tools and information on board governance, board structure and explore key considerations when joining a board.

Content

  • Session 1: Roles and Responsibilities of Not-for-Profit Boards
  • Session 2: What types of Boards are there and what will be the best fit
  • Session 3: Key attributes of good governance
  • Session 4: Personal Plan — identify your value proposition and finding board roles
  • Session 5: Personal Plan — building your director network.

To be considered for a place, you must be available to attend all 5 sessions:

  1. 6pm to 8pm Wednesday 31 May 2023
  2. 6pm to 8pm Tuesday 6 June 2023
  3. 6pm to 8pm Wednesday 14 June 2023
  4. 6pm to 8pm Wednesday 21 June 2023
  5. 6pm to 8pm Wednesday 28 June 2023
