Intro

The 2024 Wheatbelt and Peel Trails Forum, delivered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC), will see the presentation and release of the Concentric Circles Report — Guidance for Trails Tourism Close to Perth, prepared by TRC Tourism. 

Agenda

Chris Ord, TRC Tourism, will present the report, summarising the stakeholder engagement process, explaining concentric circles, market insight and the strategic directions and recommendations.

Steve Bennett, Senior Policy Officer, DLGSC, will provide an update on Trails and Outdoor Recreation from a WA perspective, including how reports such as the Concentric Circles Report — Guidance for Trails Tourism Close to Perth will help guide trail development.

Katie Stevens, Trails WA will provide an update on Trails WA and provide tips on how to leverage your trail listings to appeal to the visitor market.

Local case studies from the Wheatbelt and Peel Region — hear firsthand about some of the exciting projects in the Wheatbelt and Peel regions, how they came to be, challenges and future opportunities.

This is a FREE event but RSVP is essential by 4.30pm Tuesday 21 May.

Morning tea and lunch provided — please advise of any dietary requirements.
