Intro
Held from September 11 to 12, 2021, the event is supported by the State Government through Tourism WA and is one of only two Australian championship rounds to feature night racing.
Top drivers, including Shane van Gisbergen, Jamie Whincup, Chaz Mostert and Will Davison, will compete in the Perth Championship night round, which is currently the biggest motorsport event held in Western Australia.
When WA last hosted the Supercars in 2019, thousands of motorsport fans raced to WA for the occasion, staying an average of more than four nights in WA accommodation and spending hundreds of dollars daily, supporting local businesses.
Live television broadcast of the 2019 event attracted more than one million viewers around the nation. This year's event is expected to attract similar numbers, providing a valuable vehicle to promote the State.
The Bunnings Trade Perth SuperNight event is part of the Repco Supercars Championships, a series of 12 racing events held throughout Australia featuring 26 drivers and 15 teams.
