Bindoon Library is a community hub in the Shire of Chittering, providing entertainment, education, support and information for its community of just more than 1000 people.
The award recognises the library for its multiple collaborative efforts and adapting to continue its services during COVID-19 restrictions.
Since 2016 the library has run activities, workshops and seminars around a series of theme months, driving up visits by 200 per cent.
The Regional Achievement and Community Awards, organised by Awards Australia, were announced at a ceremony on 3 December at the Hyatt Regency, Perth.
