Responsible Gambling Awareness Week showing an illustration of a man and a dog

Since 2006, RGAW has been recognised across the country and designed to promote responsible gambling and highlight the support services available for those affected by gambling.

Some of the warning signs that indicate gambling has become a problem can include: borrowing money to gamble, hiding the extent of your gambling debt or arguing with friends and family about gambling.

Through the Problem Gambling Support Services Committee, the State Government funds the Problem Gambling 24/7 helpline, online counselling and face-to-face counselling services for those experiencing problems with gambling.

Anyone concerned about their gambling is urged to seek support by calling the Problem Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 or by visiting the Gamble Aware website.
