The funding is delivered through the latest round of Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) small grants and will deliver a range of projects all over Western Australia from bowling green replacements to speedway upgrades.

Sport and Recreation Minister Tony Buti today announced the 22 recipients of the latest CSRFF small grants who each received up to $100,000 for the delivery of community sport and recreation facility projects.

Among the successful projects are:

• an upgrade to Noonkanbah Community Oval in the Kimberley
• redevelopment of the Mingenew Tennis Club
• synthetic bowling green conversion at Bedford Bowling Club and an upgrade to the Peelwood Reserve gender neutral change rooms in the City of Mandurah
• female facility improvements to change rooms at Springdale Pavilion in the City of Armadale.

Local governments and not-for-profit organisations could apply for funding for projects ranging from $7500 to $300,000.

The CSRFF is administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).

Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund
