Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman recently signed the funding agreement, allowing the city to start planning the play space.

The city will engage the local community during planning and design to ensure it becomes an inclusive space where children of all ages, and all abilities can visit.

All-abilities play spaces are accessible to all children, including children with mobility issues and wheelchair users, and those with cognitive, sensory or social-emotional challenges.
