The program’s third and final round received 54 funding applications for events to be held by 30 June 2023 and a total of $958,540 in funding has been awarded to 15 successful applicants.

The program has attracted an estimated nearly 200,000 people into the Perth CBD and Northbridge to enjoy markets, sporting events, artistic performances and light shows.

There were 41 successful applicants in the first 2 funding rounds, so there is still plenty more to come as events funded through the $4 million program continue to roll out.

The State Government’s investment is part of a $12 million package aimed at increasing foot traffic in the Perth CBD and Northbridge, with the intention of making the city more connected, active, and an attractive place to live, work, visit or play.

All applications are assessed against criteria of economic impact, activation and capability to deliver.
