REVEALED WA Aboriginal Art Market

Since its inception in 2008, the Revealed Exhibition: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists has attracted artists from across WA and exposed their unique works to a growing audience.

This year, the exhibition runs from Saturday 6 May to Sunday 23 July, with a floor-to-ceiling display of works by more than 100 Aboriginal artists from remote, regional and metropolitan WA.

As well as the exhibition, the popular Revealed: WA Aboriginal Art Market is being held in-person for the first time since 2019, giving people the chance to purchase unique artworks for one day only.

The WA Aboriginal Art Market includes more than 30 stalls selling original First Nations paintings, textiles, jewellery, ceramics and carved artefacts, providing an ethical, direct way to purchase art with 100% of sales returned to the artists.

The Art Market is being held on Saturday 6 May and features works by both emerging and established artists. The Fremantle Arts Centre venue will also have music, food and artist talks.

More than 900 WA Aboriginal artists have been featured at Revealed since its inception, generating more than $3.5 million in sales.

Revealed is presented by the Fremantle Arts Centre (City of Fremantle), with funding from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the Commonwealth Department of Communications and the Arts.
