Cameras rolling as local cast announced for The Twelve

It's lights, camera, action across Perth and the Wheatbelt region as filming begins for season 2 of the award-winning courtroom drama series The Twelve, which is estimated to bring $9.6 million in expenditure to the State.

Western Australian actors feature in the large ensemble cast, which includes celebrated international star Sam Neill, with more than 150 jobs for WA cast and crew plus hundreds of local extras.

Congratulations to all of the WA actors joining the cast, including Frances O'Connor, Tasma Walton, Greg McNeill, Suesha Rana, Luke Pegler, Adriano Cappelletta, Brad Francis, Nelson Baker, Isabelle Basen, Myles Pollard and Caroline Brazier.

WA directors Stevie Cruz-Martin (Safe Home, The Tailings) and Ben Young (Hounds of Love, Clickbait) join Mark Joffe (Jack Irish) to helm the production of the thrilling drama series.

Supported by the State Government's WA Production Attraction Incentive and Screenwest, the production is the biggest-ever of its kind to film in the State and will showcase WA's ability to attract and deliver premium screen projects.
