Here in WA the Gaming Community Trust uses unclaimed payouts from casino gaming and wagering to support projects by a diverse range of WA not-for-profit organisations.
Each year there are a host of outstanding projects, a quick example from the last 12 months is Soul Gestures Incorporated which produced an amazing documentary titled Everywhere about achievements of people with disability.
The film has had a big impact and received international acclaim at film festivals in California, Sicily, Bali and here in Australia.
We’ll keep you posted on the next round of recipients in early 2025, they’ll be selected from the categories of disability inclusion, First Nations promotion and gambling harm reduction.
