The new facility is being supported by $2 million from the WA Government as part of the PlayOn WA: 2030 by 2030 initiative to deliver 2030 community sport and recreation infrastructure items across WA by the year 2030.
The pavilion will feature modern inclusive changerooms, a kitchen, as well as office and social spaces for the local community and sporting clubs.
The pavilion will be home to the High Wycombe Cricket Club, High Wycombe Junior Football Club and High Wycombe Amateur Football Club.
Investment into this project will help ensure facilities keep pace with the growing community, support active lifestyles and provide inclusive spaces where participants of all ages and abilities can connect, grow and move.
A combined club storage shed will also be provided adjacent to the new facility.
