Pilbara

The Pilbara offers a wide range of sporting and recreational activities due to the region's unique climate and geography.

Karratha and Port Hedland are the major regional centres where most activities take place.

The Pilbara climate ranges from tropical to semi-desert, with temperatures sometimes reaching 45c in summer.

These conditions, combined with the idyllic seasons of winter and spring, ensure a diverse range of sport and recreation interests are pursued all year.
