As part of the update, information on councillor payments and long-term liabilities sourced from local government annual financial statements, and the percentage of female elected members will be publicly available for the first time.

MyCouncil has been a great success with more than 100,000 page views since launching in April 2016. The website is a useful tool for public and councils alike, prompting discussion about council performance which has the potential to lead to improved community services.

I would like to thank you all for your assistance and support in providing this information to ensure we continue to strengthen accountability and transparency across the sector.
