Intro
After 6 years as Club Development Officer at the City of Busselton, Pam Glossop said her farewells and prepared for retirement and a life on the road traveling around Australia.
During her time at City of Busselton, Pam was instrumental in developing and implementing the Club Development Program, via DLGSC Every Club funding, and utilising her extensive experience, skills, knowledge and networks within the industry.
Pam worked behind the scenes assisting over 70 clubs and their volunteer committees in the board room on the business of community sport.
Over this time Pam facilitated the completion of 37 club/association strategic plans and multiple volunteer education workshops putting the region’s clubs and associations in good stead for the future.
Pam, the Olympian, represented Australia in Hockey at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics and is a member of both the Australian and Queensland Hockey Hall of Fame.
Those Olympian traits, a love for community sport and passion for the regions came out through her work and it is no surprise she also dedicated her time on the board of South West Academy of Sport (SWAS), Busselton Freight Rising Sports Star and the South West Sports Development Federation.
