A new, inclusive play space developed in Clarkson with significant funding from the WA Government has proved an instant hit with children and parents.

The all-abilities playground at Riverlinks Park has been designed and purpose-built to cater for children of all ages and abilities, with the play area based around five themed spaces of mountain, desert, beach, town/country and jungle.

The carpark near the playground has also been expanded, with an accessible toilet block due to be completed in coming weeks.

The $3.3 million project was supported by the WA Government through a $2.6 million investment, with the remaining $700,000 contributed by the City of Wanneroo.
