General information
Dormitories
The upper dorm has two sections with eight bunk beds in each section. The lower dorms have another two sections containing eight bunk beds in each section.
The dormitories are in close proximity to each other and are separated by a common grassed area.
Ablutions
Ablutions adjoin the sleeping quarters of the dormitories. The upper dormitories contain four showers, four toilets and six wash basins. A separate shower, toilet and wash basin for campers with special needs can also be found in the upper dormitories.
The lower dormitories contain six showers, four toilets and six wash basins.
Leader's accommodation
Clients who book the Kookaburra area have the option of using the Leader’s accommodation at no extra charge. This building has two rooms which contain 3 king size single bunks in each. A total of 12 people can sleep in this building. Each room
also has a hand basin. The showers and toilets are located in close proximity to the Leader’s accommodation.
Dining hall
A 51m2 dining hall is available for guests of the Kookaburra dormitories. The room has a capacity of 70 people with 14 trestle tables and 80 chairs available for use.
Meeting room
A 56m2 meeting room is available for use with a capacity of 60 people seated in chairs or 80 people sitting on the floor. 60 chairs are supplied along with 5 trestle tables.
Other facilities
A fenced basketball court is available for your use. An amphitheatre with fixed seating for 100 people is also available for guests of the Kookaburra dormitories.
Camp fires
Fires may be permitted in the designated camp fire areas onsite. Please check with management regarding current fire restrictions.
Swimming
Swimming may be permitted in the Bickley Reservoir for groups who book the dormitories. Please check with management regarding swimming availability.
Catering
Kookaburra dormitory clients have catering options available through Accolade Catering or self-catering (additional charges apply).
