Main dormitories
The main dormitories overlook Princess Royal Harbour, sleeping a maximum of 114 people across three distinct areas. These have easy access to the dining room, classroom, recreation room as well as the main jetty and surrounding grounds. The main
dormitory rooms are named after local islands, with one exception being the Meredith area which is named after Cliff and Norma Meredith, long serving caretakers of the site during the 1970’s – 1990’s.
- North wing sleeps 49 people in bunk beds (includes 1 x queen size bed)
- South wing sleeps 37 people in bunk beds
- Muttonbird dorm sleeps 14 in one room with bunk beds
- Geake dorm sleeps 14 in one room with bunk beds
- each dormitory has a minimum of one shower and toilet
- there are two showers in Gull and Michaelmas dorms
- guests are required to bring their own single bed linen, towels, toiletries
- all catering provided by onsite Chef (self-catering is not permitted)
- a minimum stay of two nights (three nights on a public holiday weekend).
